COVID-19 Lockdown policy and essential service request form – 19 July, 2021

David Leisk Electronics data specialists and technicians remain available during lockdown July 2021 to facilitate provision of ESSENTIAL COMMUNICATION services for clients working or learning from home during COVID-19 lockdown.

This is done under section 10 of the NSW Government definition of “authorised workers” https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/authorised-workers, published on 18/7/2021.

In line with NSW public health order:

  • REMOTE SUPPORT to be used as primary response method to all client issues
  • Office staff limited to skeleton crew numbers
  • All non-emergency work will be declined
  • MASKS to be worn at all times by staff
  • Staff are to SANITISE hands thoroughly before and after attending client’s premises

In the best interests of public health, normal work practices will be additionally modified as follows:

  • NO sharing of staff vehicles is permitted
  • Site visits will be conducted by single staff member only
  • All staff engage in WEEKLY Covid-19 tests
  • CLIENTS are to complete a declaration prior to any site visit, stating that
    • They require ESSENTIAL WORK
    • NO household member is in isolation
    • NO household member is displaying COVID like symptoms
    • They agree to wear a facemask at all times while the technician is on site
  • Staff to carry a job card outlining the required work to each job

During the period to 31 July 2021 (or later subject to government requirements)

  • New installation work and non-essential maintenance will not be conducted
  • Installation work on construction sites will not be performed
